Waking Dead

So we got round to rolling up some characters last Thursday. Despite some time-consuming choices due to only having one rulebook (namely Backgrounds and Sires), things went relatively smoothly. We didn’t get round to the combat example – this is something we’ll have to spend time looking at ths coming Thursday. I think by and large the combat system will make or break this game, and I’m struggling to grok it myself until I’ve actually sat down and played it. It’s super-crunchy, like Feng Shui with a more detailed system, and I have no idea at present how people will fare with it.

Still, I’m being constantly surprised by the setting the more and more I read the GM guide, and I’ll hopefully be able to write up a session report detailing how we fared with the system towards the end of the week.

So basically the usual group, with the addition of virgin-roleplayer Mark R! I have no idea how he’ll get on with this as his first game (talk about in at the deep-end…) but it’ll be fun finding out…
